Speaker Cables
Pre-Order - Ships in January 2026
A modern take on the classic telephone cables we grew up around. Simple materials, clean geometry, and no unnecessary “audiophile” mythology. Just solid engineering and a visual language that feels at home in a studio, a gallery, or a listening room.
These cables use high-purity copper conductors, a textile outer weave, and low-mass banana plugs designed for minimal contact resistance—similar to the BFA/“Z-plug” style connectors often used in high-end systems. They grip firmly, avoid excessive metal mass, and keep the signal path straightforward.
Features
-
One Pair
-
Gauge: 16 AWG
-
High-purity stranded copper conductors
Flexible, durable, and designed for low resistance over real-world runs. -
Modernized telephone-line braid
A woven sleeve inspired by classic switchboard and early telecom cables—updated in red/black to match the Silence Please system language. -
Low-mass BFA banana plugs
The same style used in many reference-level systems. These minimize contact area, reduce resistance, and create a tight, reliable connection without the bulk of traditional bananas. -
Color-coded polarity
Red and black heat-shrink makes setup fast and obvious.
Old telephone cable and vintage switchboard wire have a certain honesty: tinned copper, cotton, clean geometry. They were never meant to be “hi-fi,” yet people still use them today because they sound natural and unfussy.
This cable follows that spirit—but without the headaches of hunting for old stock, inconsistent batches, or brittle insulation. It keeps the simplicity and the look, but uses modern materials, proper strain relief, and high-end terminations.
